  The room was clean, all of the appliances worked (TV, fridge, microwave, hair dryer, alarm clock). The bed was VERY comfortable as were the pillows. Didn't hear the neighbors or people in the hall, and one evening it was storming outside and had I not seen it on the news and looked outside - The staff was very friendly and helpful.   The room we had was very nice, very roomy. Actually, it was nicer than my first apartment, and about the same size. I have since, reserved 2 more separate nights there, a much better value than the chain discount motels. - Staff was friendly and nice. Room was very clean.

They are so willing to go above to help their guests and provide information on place to eat and visit. The property is on old highway 31 which helps with the charm that it is not located by all the other hotel,motel and is very quiet. The room I stayed in was roomy, clean and plenty of pillow for the bed. If you want a change in staying off the beaten path, stay at the Thunderbird Inn.

  The receptionist was extremely helpful and even allowed us to check out later so that I could take a shower after running a marathon. Everything was great and we will certainly be back. - Clean hotel. Good location-within walking distance to the sites but not in all the traffic.

  I liked the private balcony and the view of the Mackinaw Bridge and Mackinaw Island. We were lucky there were fireworks the night we stayed. Liked the bathroom set-up with separate room with the shower & toilet in one and sinks in another. - Hotel was clean for most part and reasonably priced. Could use some updating.
