The room was clean, all of the appliances worked (TV, fridge, microwave, hair dryer, alarm clock). The bed was VERY comfortable as were the pillows. I've stayed at resorts that didn't have beds this comfortable!
Breakfast was OK - waffles, fruit, cereal, Danish. The menu could be expanded, but it was free so I ate there.

The room we had was very nice, very roomy. Actually, it was nicer than my first apartment, and about the same size.
I have since, reserved 2 more separate nights there, a much better value than the chain discount motels. -

The location was perfect for visiting my University of Michigan college
student who lives on North Campus. It was convenient and very
comfortable. The beds were terrific and we enjoyed staying there. The
bonus for my growing teenage son was the Bob's Big Boy attached
where we ate breakfast.

Therese and her staff are wonderful. They are so willing to go above to
help their guests and provide information on place to eat and visit. The
property is on old highway 31 which helps with the charm that it is not
located by all the other hotel,motel and is very quiet. The room I
stayed in was roomy, clean and plenty of pillow for the bed. If you want
a change in staying off the beaten path, stay at the Thunderbird Inn.

The receptionist was extremely helpful and even allowed us to check out later so that I could take a shower after running a marathon. Everything was great and we will certainly be back. -

Price. Clean. Basic place to spend the night; no "frills"
(hair dryer, shampoos, fridge) but for the money, excellent lodging.
The tv worked, the place was very clean and the staff was very
friendly. When I got there, I found out their rate was cheaper than

I liked the private balcony and the view of the Mackinaw Bridge and Mackinaw Island. We were lucky there were fireworks the night we stayed. Liked the bathroom set-up with separate room with the shower & toilet in one and sinks in another. -

pool. The fact that the sink is outside the shower/toilet area. It
