Second stay at an AmericInn this trip. Another good experience with helpful and friendly reception staff. Perkins restaurant next door was handy and had a bar! Rooms not as fresh as the Traverse City Inn but still clean and comfortable. Free hot drinks and nice seating area at reception made this feel more of an upmarket hotel rather than a motel

It was one of the nicest motels I've ever stayed in. It was very very clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The night crew got my ipad working when I wasn't sure how to hookup to the Internet and the breakfast was great, kitchen very clean. Would I stay there again? Yes if I'm in that area it's the only place I would stay!

It was clear that the hotel was being upgraded and we were happy that our rooms were those already completed. The furnishings were new, carpet and bedding was new, and the rooms were very clean. We had to stay over in Detroit because of the weather and arrived late.The beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed an exellent breakfast buffet with an omelet station. This is a very pleasant hotel. -

We liked nearly everything about Mackinaw Beach and Bay Resort. A morning breakfast is provided, and it's good, but it needs a little variety. The staff is wonderful, the rooms are great and the view is amazing from your own private balcony. We liked it so much were going to go back again next year. -
