  The accommodations were clean, roomy and as advertised. It was quiet for the most part. Could hear some door slamming in the A.M. but thats expected. The hot tub was very relaxing after a day of kayaking pictured rocks ( just a few miles away!) - We had our granddaughter ( 5yrs old) visit us an she just loved the pool and slide.   The people at the Front Desk were beyond respectful. The beds were so comfortable, and the room was very cozy. The Television is not perfect resolution, but to have a nice size flat screen in the room was a bonus. My son stuck something in the heater which caused it to stop working, and the Manager was perfectly fine with it. The hotel is ex - the staff was helpful, friendly, courteous. The room was very comfortable.

  Location is awesome. Right next to a large Meijers store. This was a stop over for us, we were travelling north. Staff are always friendly and my granddaughter loves the pool. This makes for a great relax time after a day of travelling.

  I liked that it was reasonably priced and the staff was very accommodating. We had to leave a day early and they gave no problems about refunding our money for a night that we already paid for. - Great location to downtown and shops.   If I ever go to Houghton again I would definitely stay there. I loved everything about it. The staff was superb, rooms clean. They offer you free breakfast and drinks daily.
