We stayed the weekend of the Preakness and many college graduations in the area. We were there for a college graduation at 1st Mariner Center, across the street, so it could not have been more convenient. Staff was friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and the overall condition of the hotel very good. Parking was also convenient, safe and fairly priced.

The staff were great and upgraded our room gratis when we arrived ro an 8th floor room with a spectacular view of the monument. The room was beautiful and large and had character, plus it was quiet. It sits in a wonderful neighborhood close to great restaurants and right on Mount Vernon park. You get a real flavor of Baltimore at its best here (I grew up here).

The staff was amazing, and it was a great location with comfortable beds. Breakfasts are included in a small, home-like kitchen. There are a total of about 6 parking places in streets right in front of the hotel, and maybe a couple more in the streets at the back, so as you can tell it is very limited.
