  In all of our travels, I have never stayed anywhere like this. It is a remarkable patch of paradise, with the yurts perched over the most amazing small cove, with views that defy description.   Carol was such a pleasure! Breakfast was delicious: a couple egg dishes, perfectly cooked sausage, homemade biscuits with fresh baked jam including the standard cereals, etc... everything is homemade. What a perfect way to start the day! And the rooms... the epitome of a homey, warm B&B. I shared a bathroom with another couple. The hom - Lake Lucille Bed and Breakfast was the best location of all the places we stayed in our 12-day trip to Alaska. The staff was friendly, informative, efficient, and welcoming. Carol made us feel at home immediately. The rooms were spotless and beautiful, and the breakfast was SPECTACULAR! We would stay there again any time we have the chance. If you're travelling through Wasilla, DON'T miss this wonderful spot.

  Exceptionally clean and comfortable. Wonderfully spacious with a great view of the river. The staff was friendly and ever so helpful with allowing us to store our luggage after checkout and before our departure. The information on the area was easily available for all the restaurants in the area and the different sight seeing tours. The continental breakfast was just right and was even able to wash a load of laun - People in Alaska were very friendly, but here was awesome! We stayed in May 2013. The best room we had in our trip. We felt like home, (even better!). I still remember the chocolate muffins. Thanks a lot for a piece of peace in a crazy and 24 hour round clock trip in Alaska.

  A perfect hotel for Juneau! My wife and I were a little nervous when we booked it as the description and the pictures of the hotel didn't quite fit with the price. Upon arrival we found it to be exactly what we were looking for! The Silverbow is not in any way fancy, modern, or in most peoples definition, boutique, but it was exactly what we wante... what people say » d. It is an old building and has all the charm and class that turn of the century buildings have. Loved the room and the quirkiness of the setting. Gr - The room was very clean and also nicely decorated. The bathroom was very nice size with a great bathtub. I loved having the balth salts. The food was great, and the breakfast that came with the room was excellent.The recomendations for food outside the Silverbow were spot on. Location was great. Staff were very nice and helpful. The photos in the dining area were great-they made me want to see more of Alaska.

  We had a delightful stay at Summit Lake Lodge with among the most friendly proprietors we have encountered. We stayed in a cabin which was an ideal mixture of updates and Alaskan charm, tucked away in the trees surrounding Summit Lake. Dinner at the restaurant was gourmet - the best we had in our week-and-a-half vacation. We couldn't have been more delighted with our stay and wished we ha - My husband and I stayed overnight at the Summit Lake Lodge, and we both greatly enjoyed the experience. The cabins are very comfortable and well decorated with careful attention paid to small details that make the cabins feel so "homey". The owners and staff are warm and personable and really go the extra mile to take care of the guests. The breakfast that is included in the price is fantastic. The mountain setting is beautiful, and we enjoyed kayaking in the adjacent lake. We highly recommend
