  We stayed in the house across the street. The owner was extremely helpful. He had made out in advance a detailed map of all of the attractions of Fairbanks and surrounding areas. They stocked the fridge with a huge variety of breakfast items so that we could make what we wanted, when we wanted. This worked particularly well for us since we wer... what people say » e catching a morning flight. Easy to walk to restaurants, visitors' center, etc. - The hosts were very friendly and helpful. They loaned us bicycles to get around and offered to drive us where we needed. The Mrs got up extra early to cook an excellent breakfast before we got the train. There are excellent resterants nearby.

  Carol was such a pleasure! Breakfast was delicious: a couple egg dishes, perfectly cooked sausage, homemade biscuits with fresh baked jam including the standard cereals, etc... everything is homemade. What a perfect way to start the day! And the rooms... the epitome of a homey, warm B&B. I shared a bathroom with another couple. There was an e... what people say » xtra kitchen downstairs which made the other meals very easy to make and store. To top it off, her daughter makes the most incredible jewelry. The hom - Lake Lucille Bed and Breakfast was the best location of all the places we stayed in our 12-day trip to Alaska. The staff was friendly, informative, efficient, and welcoming. Carol made us feel at home immediately. The rooms were spotless and beautiful, and the breakfast was SPECTACULAR! We would stay there again any time we have the chance. If you're travelling through Wasilla, DON'T miss this wonderful spot.

  The lodge is right on the lake. I found it to be extremely relaxing and welcoming. The owners and staff are all the best. - Totally relaxing...very quiet...a super great place to stay ....met people from all over the world.

  Raspberry Meadows was very clear and roomy. I had a wonderful room with large windows, closet with mirrored doors and a tv in my room. The bathroom was just about 5 feet away and very clean with extra toilettries in case you forgot something, plus a double sink. There was a market just 2 blocks away with a deli inside with wonderful food and soup.... what people say » Breakfast was on your own with coffee, pastries and oatmeal, self- serve. Marty was wonderful to help you find the sites to see with maps and suggest - Very gracious and friendly family hosts. The room was cute and clean with private bath. Close to everything. Hiking, shopping, wildlife, trails, museum. Quiet and host respectful of solitude while being available to our needs. She sent us off with a gift and a feeling that we were appreciated. Very much enjoyed our visit and highly recommend.

  I stayed at Alaska Grizzly Lodge with my sister from Japan from Sep 21 to 26, 2013. I loved the lodge! The décor was very nice and I was able to feel Alaska everywhere in the lodge and I took a lot of pictures of the lodge and the 3 very friendly and well-mannered dogs! The room was very comfortable and very warm. The host, Anita was very nice an... what people say » d friendly. He made great breakfast every morning and egg casserole was my sister's favorite! She helped us open fresh salmon we got from Yukon River - My wife and I spent 3 most wonderful nights at lodge. We watched aurora borealis Three days in a row from my balcony. Amazing location! Anita, owner of the lodge, provides different but delicious breakfast every day. Since most of us did not bring enough clothes for standing under -20 F outdoors, she offered heavy coats and boots to make our surora viewing so enjoyable. Anita provides lots of advices that make our trip a lovely memory of life time.

  The Piano Room was super comfortable and our family of 5 had plenty of room. There are bicycles available for your use so we rode them down the nearby Tony Knowles Trail, and the view was gorgeous. There are a variety of choices for breakfast as well as a hot cooked breakfast, and sitting in the sunroom/dining room with the other guests was fun as... what people say » well as informative. The hostess and her daughter in law are very warm and friendly, and Sandy gives you ideas and directions for sightseeing. Great - Very pleasant host & hostess. Super clean accomodations. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast and interesting conversations with both guests and owners. Access to kitchen so could make some coffee. Central location. EZ access to Anchorge. Excellent location for day trip to Seward & Hope, Alaska. Most amazing scenery!
