Situated on the banks of the Susitna River and 5 minutes’ drive from Talkeetna town centre, these cabins offer full kitchenettes, including dishes and cutlery. Seasonal snowmobile tours of the surrounding area are offered on site. Susitna River Cabins offer private bedrooms and a separate dining area and living room with space to relax. The cabins offer generous wood paneled interiors and the kitchenettes are complete with microwave, refrigerator and tea and coffee-making facilities. The River Cabins offer picnic tables with outdoor grills and fire pits. A children’s playground is available and guests can stop by the on site gift shop. Numerous lakes surround the property. Christiansen Lake and the Talkeetna Lakes are less than 3 miles from the Susitna River Lodge and Fish Lake is 8 miles away. Talkeetna Airport is 2 minutes’ drive from the cabins.

The best south view of Denali (Mt. McKinley) in Talkeetna. Walking distance to everything. Snow machine tours available affordable, snowshoes & bunny boots complimentary for guests, lodge open 24 hours with games as big screen tv. Cabins easily sleep 4 or more. Owners are fantastic and readily available. They allowed our dog to stay and provided secure tie out facilities for him. Breakfast was included. There was a nice park playground across the street. Pack n play provided for our son. gate across stairs was great. Bed was comfortable- loved having a kitchen, sink, microwave and coffeemaker in the room.
all reviews » The cabin was beautiful, clean, equipped with all the necessary amenities, and the bed was very comfortable. I like that they provide transportation from the train station to the cabin. I also liked that they have games and movies that people can use. This was a beautiful place to stay-you can see mountains (not mckinley) near the river in front of the cabins- quiet, comfortable, continental breakfast was adequate. It was close to things to do in Talkeetna. Gorgeous views. Clean, comfortable accomodations with easy access to walk to Talkeetna downtown shopping and restaurants. Owners/host were very attentive and kind. Helpful in any way they could be. Loved this accommodation for our family of 5. Lots of wildlife. Great staff who were very welcoming and hospitable as well as happy to recommend local activities. Lovely riverside setting. Full cooking facilities, although very close to town and restaurants. Excellent family accommodation very clean and comfortable. Susitna River Cabins are clean and comfortable. The view is incredible.The owners and staff are are so nice. It is such a relaxing place for a get-away. Cabin was clean and located with a view of the mountains in Denali park. We enjoyed the privacy and conveinence to activities, especially flight seeing. Susitna has a very attentive crew, our cabin was very confortable, clean and had everything we need to send wonderful day there. I defenily recommend!. The cabin was exactly what we were looking for. The location was great and the staff was awesome!. Everything was great!. The property ran out of water for most of the evening but I don't think it was their fault but nobody told us about it, we just discovered we were out of water. Made it difficult to give my son a bath. The mosquitos but that is everywhere in Alaska!. We are there in July, and the lodge was full, people knocked on the door couple time in the morning. No TV's in the rooms. Breakfast was OK. N/A. Although it was a kitchenette unit, the kitchen was very lacking in cooking facilities or utensils. Nothing.
