Personnel very friendly and helpfull. Great location, only a few minutes to the nearest subway station from where in Manhattan in minutes only. Never felt unsafe in area, even late at night. Parking available at a fee, free public parking from 6pm-8am and weekends. Large clean rooms, twice the size of Manhattan hotels for less money. Breakfast ok for the hotel class, cereals, apples, banana, bagels, viennoiserie, cream cheese, scrambled eggs.Staff relentlessly working to make sure there is enou.
all reviews » It is a perfect hotel located in a place where near to the most attractions in New York Hotel very clean, the beds are comfortable, nice breakfast, clean bathroom and reception staffs help/qauid in everything ( attractions location, subway, resturants .... etc) The hotel too close to the subway, it takes 3 min then max 10 to Manhattan There is laundry, money exchange, supermarkets and some resturants near the hotel Everything is good plus if you compare the price with 3 stars hotel in Manhatta. It was clean and the staff was friendly, helpful, prompt and professional. It was a good price, not far from Manhattan and worth staying at. I was actually pleasantly surprised by the breakfast--yogurt, bagels, donuts, cereal, pastries, coffee, tea, orange juice, apple juice, milk and such. It was one of the better continental breakfasts that I've had. It was also located right next to the F train, which was really convenient for someone who doesn't know NYC at all. The hotel was clean. The view from my room was amazing. The air conditioning was fast and quiet. The staff were friendly. The car park was in the basement. It is located very close to a subway station. Even near the end time, all breakfast options were available. Internet speed was okay. For the price, the hotel is a very good option, and overall a good option if you need a place to stay, but not looking to savor on hotel amenities. It's located very near a subway station that takes you directly to Times Square in ten minutes. It's not a very crowded area but it's safe, even if you return at night using the subway. They have a private parking lot, but it's not very hard to find a spot in the same street. Considering the high rates in NYC, this hotel has a very nice quality and location for its price. The staff is nice and some of them also speak spanish. Decent budget Hotel. Hallways where a bit tired & looked dirty but the room was nice & clean with a comfy bed & a good shower. Subway station about 3 minutes walk away with regular service to Manhattan which took less than 10 minutes to Central Park / 5th Ave area. Breakfast was very basic but enough to fill you up until lunch. The area was not the best but we certainly didn't feel in any danger. The staff was great! The staff members that I interacted with were extremely friendly and very helpful with information about the subway as in which stop was ours and exactly which stop to get off at to get back to the hotel. JFK is about 45-60 minutes by car(depends on traffic)and 45 minutes by metro. I stayed here only for one quick night between transfer, but would recommend it for others. The hotel is one block from the subway and a $10 cab from Manhattan. Very comfortable room and free breakfast. The neighborhood wasn't exactly picturesque and it was right near a large housing project. It's not in an area where I would want to spend a special occasion, but for a 22-year-old woman on a business trip, I felt relatively safe walking around and didn't have any problems. But its not somewhere that I wouldn't go walking around by myself at nighttime. The room (one king bed) was extremely small. The breakfast is continental, and the time is up to 9:30 am only. No microwave in the room. The breakfast area is quite small, if you get up early there's no problem, but if you arrive a little later maybe you'll have to wait for a spot. It's not a complain, just an observation. Immediately entering room 705 we were hit in the face with an overwhelming smell of smoke which continued through out the night I did go right down stairs to let the front desk know. It really was overwhelming and I also did not want to get charged a fee when it was not us doing the smoking. The front desk was apologetic and gave me a can of air freshener. Hotel located in middle of industrial area, around many of car garages and small businesses, not very attractive neighborhood for tourists. The nearby Subway F line was not in service on the weekend, so we had to take about 900 m walk from Queensboro station, at end of exciting day it was a bit difficult for the children. The aircon is a bit loud at times, but not unbearable. Only one visitor computer. No pool. (At least I never saw one). Ended up parking on the street and had to move the car before 8am instead of paying the $25 per night fee. Only a couple of minor complaints: the lack of meat for breakfast and small breakfast area which quickly becomes very crowded. location is okay, easy to go to manhattan but environment of hotel looks like little bit scary!!. We have nothing bad to say about this hotell!. Wi-fi connection was not very good. Breakfast is the same everyday. But it has all you need. Don't expect magnificent views: the neighbourhood is neither an architectural jewel nor famed for neatness. Not big choice for breakfast. Nothing. Nothing. Breakfast was more continental as opposed to full hot breakfast, but still satisfactory. Toilets are really small. Breakfast room is a bit small. The parking facility underground proved difficult when navigating our slightly spacious vehicle. Perhaps a different area to park larger vehicles above ground so one wouldn't have to damage their vehicles when parking underground. They promoted a full breakfast and it was more continental. The was no meat to eat with the eggs. I asked the staff about the meat they said the Manager did not make it today but that was the same excuse i heard for three days. Breakfast could have had a better selection of spreads for toast etc, the croissants were a little stale and the coffee was not very good. Just the around the hotel in the nights, but everything was fine. The breakfast was fair, but very limited choices. The area is quite ugly, although does noy feel unsafe. Could not figure water to shower over bath; seems every USA shower system different but heh, we've only been coming to US since 1965 so still time to learn!!. Just a little bit of feeling of unsafety by nigth on the 3 minute walk from sub way to the hotel. While street lights are not the responsibility of the hotel, I wonder if there is some way that the Sleep Inn could enhance the lighting on the street in front heading south. The restroom at level 1R was not cleaned properly when i visited it. Guest should take care to leave the toilet clean bt them self also. There was not enough light in the room to read a paper properly. I didn't like the behave of the receptionist of the hotel named Mr Aman (not so sure). Who checked inn us on 19 nov at 7-8 pm. He was too rude to us, he don't even know how to speak with guests. I have ever seen I my life this kind of hotel receptionist. This is my question to you; how can this kind of person get job in hospitality service ??? As a regular customer I hope a response from you regarding this matter. Thanks N Syed. The location is a bit rough. The entrance is on a stretch of road lined with auto shops and neighbors a public housing complex and vacant industrial warehouses. too hard to find, no sign on the building, the bed is kingsize,but the room is small. The elevator is a bit noisy. We asked for a city view but we got a rear view. everything was good except Micro Oven was not there.
