Convenient location for access to MidTown Manhattan by subway. Nice breakfast. Reasonable room rates for NY. The hotel itself is actually quite nice and the staff is pleasant. Everything was clean and modern and worked. I'll go back. The stay was fantastic. The hotel was clean, close to everything we needed, and had a very courteous and helpful staff. We were very pleased.It is an oasis (good value!) in a poor neighbourhood. That made it less expensive than Manhattan hotels. But inside it is impeccable.

Area surrounded by dumps (literally, scrap metal dumps and plastic dumps), but several nice restaurants within a five minute walk.space in eating area very limited. Just opposite of the hotel there is a dump. Not so nice neigherbourhood.The shower was not powerful enough. It was really to noisy. My wish to get a quiet room was ignored. So we had to sleep with earplugs.The pop machine was either empty or didn't work. breakfast area too limited. we had a nasty feeling waiting to be served. Some guests quite insensitive. Probably, a written notice would be appropriate so they understand that breakfast area was not a place to relax and take your time while there was a queue for a decent and short breakfast. Also, high noise level due to subway trains.Breakfast room far too small. Original room was very poor (116) - Moved to much better rm the following day - Room was noisy and cramped.no. I like it. I mean, I wish I could get a better price, but compering with others hotel in Manhattan the price was good. There are only 4 tables for breakfast which is not sufficient. The owful industrial neiborhood. The area, even so close to everything, is a bit strange. We as a couple felt safe, but travelling alone I would not recommend booking this hotel. Do not expect a huge breakfast, but as a fast start this is okay.Surrounding areas looked suspicious. We needed a late check-out and the guy at front desk told us we could stay until 3:30PM, paying an extra fee. However when we got there at 2 PM the other guy at front desk said we had only until 3 PM to check-out. More than an administrative matter, it is not a honest and sound practice. I would only recommend this hotel based on the price.Garbage across the street. Location was noisy, limited facilities both in the hotel and nearby. Which was OK for the one night I stayed, but I wouldn't stay for an extended period.The breakfast area is very small and unsuitable for a hotel of this size. People had to stand to eat. the room had a bad smell, not enough ventilation, the corridor even worst. the dinningroom. staff unknowliedgale about own phone service.
