Spacious apartments (2 rooms apartment) with all the facilities needed for a family with kids. Very good location but need to locate it on your map before going to avoid extra charge for taxi. We went through previous reviews and were worried to find insects in the room, but we stayed for 11 days and never locate a single insect anywhere, we stayed in room #306. Very friendly staff to be mentioned too.
all reviews » We took a two-bedroom, for four adults. The room is very large, each room has its own bathroom with a toilet and another separate toilet. There is a large kitchen, you can cook breakfast there we just did. Two huge balconies. From the nearest subway 10-15 minutes. There are few places where you can eat normally. 6 days of our family's stay in this hotel was great! A very supportive staff - special thanks go to Ben, Nelson and others - was helping us with smiles and pleasure. Comfortable rooms, everyday cleaning, good location. We just enjoyed our time in Dubai!!!. The size of the 2 bedroom apartment was great as it meant we were not all in a small confined space. I also like the free on-site parking as that made coming and going so much easier since I didn't have to worry about parking spaces. It's really 100 sq meters apartments. Good choise for family (2 children + 2 adults + 1 newborn). Way to Mall of Emirates takes 5 min by feet (metro ibidem). Beaches available by taxi in 15-20 min, price for taxi is 10-15 USD. Clean, quiet, large size, new furniture, fully equipped, covered parking, free internet, gym and pool on the roof, walking distance from mall, reasonable price for what you get. Foot is not very comfortable to walk, so you go along the road constantly. In a week, we spent where, I killed 5 cockroaches. Not much, but enough. Dishwasher in our apartment all the way was broken (however, staff every day washed dirty plates). The hotel is located behind CityMax. First time driving to the hotel was not fun. Searching for the hotel was stressful as it is hidden behind main roads. Confusion with another CityStay (without Inn) added few more minutes to the 30 minutes search process. Carpark guy too slow to opwn boom gate. Carpark guys are creepy People in room 101 very noisy late at night Unstable internet (always had to restart). The internet does not have signal in all parts of the room only some special spaces . creepy guys in the carpark, slow boom gate opening, lots of intrusive noise from room 101, internet always dropping out, old utensils in kitchen. Water pressure in shower was poor, food average although we did order western style food. Having to constantly renew WiFi passwords during stay. The bug found in the kitchen. The mattresses were as hard as rocks! I have never had hip pain from sleeping in a bed. I sleep on my side and felt like I had bruises on the sides of my body! The other beds in the apartment were the same. I would recommend replacing all the mattresses to something more comfortable!. Very loud A/C Hard to find (= don't mix it up with City Stay Hotel, close to it) As usual - service more efficient face to face than over the phone. Exhaust fans @ the kitchen seems to be smaller than it should be ! The smell of cooking from other apartment spread very quickly to the rate you feel that the cooking is done just beside your bed ! So the main issue is ventilation. i saw flies in my room. Breakfast took an hour & check-out was extremely slow. It took ages & I was the only person there. Breakfast is a little late for those who have to work early. Value for money, very expensive Aircondetioner is not working some times Some noise from the other rooms. The kitchen appliances are not in good condition. Staff attitudes is not to the extent of hotel receptionist standard. The hairdriers did not work. Guest adjust to cleaners time. Even we don't put the tag please clean my room the always door bell and ask. Leak on bath tub has not been repaired. that when i came to my room there was some items not cleaned well. while car was parked nobody cleaned and was full of dust when i was travelling around. Taxi was unable to find accommodation. no. We order breakfast but it was not very good and I would not eat there if I stayed again. we just faced inter wifi problem. smell of cooking. The advanc mony amont of the staying. wireless is required to enter password every time you need to enter. there is no TV In main bed room.
