Beware you have to walk around 7 minutes and cross two busy streets! - Conveniently a few steps across the street there’s a mini-market called “Deal Market”, it’s a great place –it made our lives easy! all reviews » We had a two bedroom apartment, one king size bed and two singles for the teenagers were great. The beds were comfy, we had daily room service & the staff were friendly. The apartment size was fantastic, clean, modern and very comfortable. We had two bathrooms, each with a separate shower and a shower in the bath as well, a bidet & toilet. There was a separate toilet also. The kitchen came with a toaster, kettle which I think was faulty and a full size fridge. It also had cutlery, plate. Hotel is in good location and close to metro and Mall of the Emirates with good restaurants and food stores close by. The hotel is located on the walking distance from the mall of Emirates, where you can find a lot of restaurants. The supermarket is across the street. The staff is mostly very friendly, especially Issa from the reception. The pool at the roof is not that big, but quite ok and refreshing. I paid aed 400 (aed 100/per day for me and my mother)breakfast through letsbookhotel.com. When I arrived to the hotel, I saw the breakfast price to be aed 44. The receptionist mentioned that I could not get that price as I paid to you. In reality, the hotel breakfast is not worth of AED100 but AED50. I now know that booking accomodation solely through letsbookhotel.com can be a better option. Thanks. Everything was amazing in this hotel. It is completely the same as photos and more. We have paid less and were granted more! And this is a huge plus. We used the kitchen and cooked a meal one time and it was so convenient. We didn't want to leave the place and considered it home already. We will definitely go back to it again on out next visits to Dubai. This is great accommodation for Dubai, price/location/quality. 5 minutes from Mall of the Emirates, small supermarket, take aways and restaurants all close by. Staff friendly and efficient. Pool closed 21:00 o' clock that was too early and you were really chased away. The pool bar was mostly not open. Cigarette smell drifted in through air conditioning. Only hotel where we paid a deposit and they checked our room before returning it on departure. Does not seem much trust given to visitors in Dubai. After our stay in this hotel apartment, we checked the new year rates specifically with Abidos for our next visit to Dubai thru letsbookhotel.com, but it was 3x the amount we paid for this trip for the same duration. We really wish it is more reasonable and extra budget friendly. Sometimes its tricky to get taxis from the door, but generally no longer than 10 minutes to wait...and many times within 3. Hotel windows were really dirty with sand, but I'm sure that it the case with many Dubai buildings. Staff were a little laid back and took their time doing things but this is not really a problem. They very friendly and helpful. We reserved two double rooms but the rooms were located on seperate floors. Ordering food from the poolside took 45 minutes to arrive. Tiles in apt are starting to look grubby which can bring down the overall look of an otherwise very well maintained apt. Had a few issues connecting to internet, but it was quickly sorted. It was crowded around the pool and the air conditioning units (next housed next to the pool) were very noisy. Al Barsha is very quickly thoroughly explored, not really much to do expect go to the mall. Wifi access is too restricted (pool, reception area) and it's complicated to get a new password every now and then. Breakfast is not included in the price, thats the only thing to be honest. Carpets and some furniture are starting to look old or not so clean. Spa limits the number of towels that a guest can use, not sure why so much restriction is needed. Some construction work in the area can cause some noise !. I have no complains. no nice view, but that's probably typical for non expensive Dubai hotels. hotel tours were not good, you get a driver, but not a guide =(. The limited amount of kitchen utensils and the slippery tiles around the pool. The breakfast selection is barely ok and after 3 days, it became old. The rooms do not have clothes hangers. It took 3 phone calls and almost 2 hour to get few delivered to the room. The only negative was the beds weren't too comfortable - prefer a firm mattress!. The food was not good. The carpet was dirty. No WiFi in the the room, they give me password that will work in one device only and for limited time. The internet very bad. It didn't work the full night of second day and until I leave the third day noon. The location became crowded. You need an hour to go of the area by car or taxi. Its not easy to ask for late check out even if you are prepared to pay more (as the hotel always fully booked). Basically nothing. Staff could not provide additional kitchen equipment or bowls. Noise from construction site. I asked for a non smoking room. But taking out the ashtrays does not make it non smoking. The couches n curtains smelt very strongly of smoke. Also the couch was very old or of poor quality as it had no support and was uncomfortable. Location a bit noisy due to traffic and construction. nothing. Loved it all. they could improve the cleanliness in the rooms. Have more crockery in the kitchen... we were a family of 4 and had to share breakfast bowls... there was only 1. nothing. had to go to lobby to get wifi, lack of cutlery and you could not wash up in kitchen as there was no plug so had to wash up in bathroom! When showering the glass panel was not flush with wall so floor flooded every time. You need handrails, or rubber mats in your shower stalls and in the walk-in shower it would be very handy to have a shower wand. You also need to re-stuff the couch in the living room as it sinks too far down in the edge underneath your thigh is exposing cuts into you. Kitchen was not really well equipt, however this did not bother us as we didn't cook. But if you were looking to cook meals you will struggle. No WIFI whenever you want to use your laptop you need to have a wire & password from reciption. I booked one apartment with two bedrooms but when I arrived they told me that they don't have it at that time and I should take two single-bedroom apartment instead. This was a problem for me since I have young children. So, I decided to use one of the apartment they offered till they fix the issue next day. They provide me with extra bed and we used the sofa that night. Next day they give us our apartment but all the issue was disappointing. The apartment we stayed in overlooked the main road (above reception) the view from the balcony was ok if you did not look to your right! In this direction there is a new hotel being built and the noise is annoying first thing in the morning, ask for a room at the other side of the hotel although there is no view only of other hotels you will not have the noise of the traffic below and the building site. Couldn't drink the tap water and only one bottle supplied. Kettle didn't work. Nothing.
