The staff of Coral Al Khoory Apartments are very friendly and helpful. The apartment was luxurious and suited our family perfect, as it had 2 rooms with twin beds and not the usual double beds, as well as, boasting a massive master-bedroom - travelling with 3 teenagers this was important. I was very happy with the pots and pans that were provided, often travelling with a larger group you find that the pots are not big enough to cook things like pasta. There was plenty of crockery and cutlery.
all reviews » The staff were friendly and obliging. We had to call housekeeping for a few items, and they were prompt and helpful. The apartment was spacious (we had an executive suite). The kitchen was stocked, although it would have been nice to have some kitchen towels and dish soap to do the dishes rather than leave them for housekeeping. We used the metro during most of our weekend, but taxis were easy to find. The hotel is within walking distance (3 minutes) to Sharaf Metro Station, and within walkin. We enjoyed a lot our stay at the Coral. We were there for 9 nights in october 2013, traveled with 2 small kids (3 and 1). The appartemnt was hudge, big living room, 2 big bedroom and fully equiped kitchen. Plenty of place for kids to run and play. Location is good, you cand walk to the mall oF Emirates and the taxis are plenty in that area. personnel really pleasant and helpful. I could not fault this hotel, we are definitely coming back next year. Cristian. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The porters esp went out of their way to check we had everything that we needed. We were upgraded on arrival to a 1 bed apt which was fab. The apartment was very well equipped, clean and looked great. The swimming pool was well maintained and perfect for us. You could walk to the emirates mall with ease. Very good hotel and nice staff but the supervisor need to be more friendly he need to give the write answer to the costumer witch was solved with manager. The staff (Dalya & Joan) are the best, they are very friendly & has an excellent service, actually they are one of the reasons why I would like to go back there as they made me feel friendly & welcomed. The location is very near Mall of the Emirates, and local schools where regional high school tournaments are played. The staff are polite and caring. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. Sharing a suite with children is a great convenience and a reasonable price. For weekend trips, it is a great hotel. The decoration of the appartment, equipment, cleanless, very good location , safe parking, very good fitness, the staff was very very kind!. The room was a bit dark, but we were only in it to cook breakfast and at night before bed, so it didn't bother us. The hotel has been slightly updated, but you can still tell that it is an older hotel - some of the furniture and the lobby are a bit outdated, but still clean and spacious. The bathroom didn't have a shower curtain, only a partial glass covering, so water would fall outside the tub during a shower. We had to ask for a cot 3 times but it did come before we needed it so we weren't too bothered. When we ordered drinks at the pool, they didnt have 2 of our choices from the menu although they were apologetic when drinks eventually came. Perhaps a member of staff should be around the pool to assist with food orders and giving out towels etc- although there were plenty left for everyone to take. Nothing. Nill. The breakfast buffet is a bit bland. The front desk has only two check- in/out stations which can cause a bit of a wait when busy. The check- in/out process per guest is a bit long and the staff moves moderately, but politely, in order not to make mistakes on what seems to include a lot of paperwork. Taxi from airport (no credit card!) was about 70 AED (that's OK) and about 20mins. Longer in peak hours. Frt loader laundry powder should be provided by hotel - so bring your own or get at supermarket. Internet is not free except for one hour. Nothing. honestly saying there wasn't anything I didn't like in Coral alkhoury !. I mostly loved everything eccept the connectivity of the internet wasn't available in my apartment. And it was only in the loopy and 20 Dirhams per an hour . Costs alot .. There is no bar and visitors should be aware that they can't buy off licence beer in Dubai. Not a problem for most I'm sure. Nothing bothered us. around 11:30 pm i have some food delavary and i came on the lobby one of the gentelman ask me you are guest i feel he look like the way he is asking he must be learn how to ask question with guest and i want to change money but they are not changing in night time hehe i change with taxi driver they most be improve this. Just agree with previous notices free Internet 24/7 would be appreciated as you only get 1 hour per room per day not per person. Not much selection with room service. Some of kitchen wasn't clean when we checked in - other occupants old food in refrigerator & microwave not clean. No complaints. A bit remote if you have no car. Room reeked of cigarette smoke though it was a "non-smoking" room. The hotel needs to completely fumigate and remove all fabric to be cleaned. Kitchen tools were difficult to use. Never got the dryer to work properly. No Wi-Fi in rooms. Lack of a proper resturant or coffee shop. Room service meals too expensive. They charged me on coca cola spillage on the bed linen for 100 AED. breakfast in the hotel need to be improved very poor quality. The receptionist on duty was very slowly in doing his job and a kind of incapable to do great job in highly demanding situation of lots of customers at the same time. The WIFI is only available at the lobby. and there is no land line for internet in the rooms when we came some thing were not available but when we talked to them they provided it in the next cleaning service. It's hard to say what I didn't like because everything was just great. Really Nothing!. Terrible internet - no wifi and room ethernet connections troublesome and antiquated. Unheated/un-useable pool. Bathrooms co-located with gym unclean. Except Lesley (really excellent staff), staff at front desk very very slow. Charging for internet connectivity. I wanna highlight one thing, there are Taxi cars stop area which may not make the customers feel more comfortable to set on their balcony for air refreshing. everything perfect. Cutlery was disgustingly greasy. Kitchen had no cleaning cloths or liquid soap for cleaning dishes. والله كل شي حلو وانبسطت. Small carpets need to be changed- dirty & old. -The colors of the furniture did not really suit the room color. -A bit of a long walk to Mall of the Emirates when the summer heat kicks in. When I arrived there I paid different amount than what I booked in booking.com. I should pay the deal I got in the site but in the end I paid more. No free WIFI in rooms. Staff said they are implementing it and will be available in April 2013. Free Internet of only 1 hour.
