Peter and Bernie, as well as their family and staff made you feel at home. They allowed us to check-in early, as we were very tired from our overnight flight from the states. They were very friendly and funny. Everyone was very helpful and accommodating, answering all of our questions. The room was nice, cozy, and very clean. Breakfast was good and filling. Great location, staff extremely helpful and courteous, rooms spacious and very clean and a great breakfast too ! You were all amazing; thank you for making the stay for my daughter andI so easy; the food was incredible; the room always clean; freewireless; anything "free" in london is great :). We were all most impressed with the service and friendliness of staff/owners. The cleanliness of the rooms and the friendly service at breakfast are a good recommendation.It was warm, friendly, convenient. Keys to the hotel front door are provided and it made it easy to come and go as I pleased. They serve a delicious full breakfast. Everything. The location is superb, just 4 mins walk from Pimlico tube station, and 20 mins walk to the houses of parliament.I found the hotel satisfactory, but really it is a Bed and Breakfast and not an hotel. No lift.No lift in hotel. The only single rooms are on the top floor. As there is no lift this may be a problem for older guests. However some double rooms lower down are available for single occupancy.I didn't realize there was no lift at the hotel and I was placed on the very top floor and my luggage was very heavy. However, the gentleman at the front desk was so kind and he carried it all the way up the stairs for me. Very much appreciated!. Only the 68 steps to the 4th floor - but I can live with that. moldy smell in the bathroom. Only english breakfast is provided; no continental breakfast was available. There is no lift to reach rooms on higher floors; if you have heavy luggage ask a room on lower floors....stairs. Breackfast until 8:30? You must be joking! - She was not! Even on Sunday ! ! !. Limited breakfast choice. Our room was right on a busy road, with lots of loud pedestrians and vehicles going by late into the evening and early in the morning. Suggest asking for a room that's not on the street.A little bit cold in the room and very cold in the bathroom. Not being able to have twin room for 2 nights, fault of booking site. Breakfast was only served until 8.30, resulting in a big rush of people just before 8.30. The breakfast room did not have enough tables for the amount of guests staying, resulting in us having to wait for 10 minutes for a table. Also, the choices on the breakfast menu were quite poor, but the food itself was nice. No lounge area or bar facilities.
