the Station House was excellent value for my wife and I. We like the decor, food and friendly owner.the attention to detail to help customers feel comfortable. It was a very unique experience staying in a B & B in England. Our
grandchildren have never been to England or stayed in a B & B. We were given the opportunity to have the full English breakfast as well. We loved it. The service was great.
. The room was large, clean and bright. The noise from the railway was faint and didn't bother me at all. The staff is very friendly and very accommodating. Once you had chosen a selection you got that every morning. Weekday breakfast was from 8.10am -9am which was quite dificult if you were trying to go somewhere for 9am.Train noise was very noticeable but it did not stop me from sleeping. Television reception was irratic despite the freeview box.The bed amattress was extremely uncomfortable and if it had not been 10pm I would have left. bed springs coming through. double bed but two people would have been unusable.

As the Station Guest House is a small, family run guest house, it does not have a 24-hour reception desk. All guests are expected to arrive between 17:00 and 20:00 Sunday-Friday, and 14:00-17:00 Saturday. If you are due to arrive outside of these hours, please inform reception in advance, so that alternative arrangements can be made. You can contact reception using the contact details supplied on your confirmation email.
Group Bookings:
Please note that group bookings for more than 2 rooms are not accepted at the property.
Station Guest House will charge any guest who breaks their no-smoking policy.
