The refurbished ground from rooms facing caton road are a great improvement. Triple glazing and improved ventilation most appreciated by all. We always stay here on our annual pilgrimage to scotland and will continue to do so on the ground floor!!!. Good restaurant for breakfast - did not try other meals. Premier Inns always have restaurant attached and staff are efficient anf friendly. Bedrooms have good facilities.

We lost our way coming off the m6 and didn't realize the turning for the business park was for Premier Inn: a little sign off the main road, perhaps. There was no fridge and no intercom in the room to contact the reception. The room was a bit warm, too noisy if open the window, so have to turn on the AC all night. Free Wifi is only 30 mins. These days wifi is often included foc. Noisy fan in the bathroom Not enough milk. No proper Toilet Rolls. Nothin to dislike. Staff excellent. Busy a little noisey. The room temperature was set to 23 degree's and could not be altered, very warm on a summer evening. Wifi didn't work in rooms and then lost complete service Bit far out of town. traffic noise from road outside. No covered walkway from hotel to restaurant - torrential rain caused problems albeit the hotel had brollies for guests. Noisy guests at 3 am then another lot at 3,30am no consideration coming back from the the pub next door. Lack of sound proofing from the above floor. Floor creaks and as people tend to be on business they get up early! Duvet cover not changed during five days despite clearly having a mark on it an dirty towel put in the bathroom. Priced high for little time spent in it. Nothing. nothing. vending machine not working properly. Communicating with the hotel BEFORE we came. Could find no way of phoning to get info/ask questions. Would have liked a spacious lounge. I NEED a feather pillow and wherever I have stayed one has been available on request. UK or Europe. Due to a condition I have MAn made filling is too springy and prevents relaxing so the guaranteed good nights sleep is not possible for me. The matress was uncomfortable. We could hear the guy in the next room snoring which made it difficult to get to sleep. We were woken at 5am and 7am on a Sunday by persistent and very heavy footsteps in the room above. The Premier Inn was advertised as close to city by bus. However no buses on Sundays and very limited service on Saturday. Taxis had to get. It is more suitable for business people who have a car. No attractions in easy walking distance. The Price. 3 adults in room 2 towels 2 coffees and 2 cups. Disabled room was not suitable for a disabled person.A Bathtub is impossible for a person with mobility problems, and the 'fishmonger's slab'which I presume one is supposed to sit on becomes slippery when wet, and how can one reach the tap if it is 6 ft away. A wet room is the only bathroom, or a shower with a seat at.least, is necessary. en-suite decor a bit basic reminded me of my sons university room. En-suite did have a bit of a smell around the toilet area. Bad beds,the clog dancing team that stayed in the room above us. noisy neighbours, the food in the attached pub was pretty poor - go in to town instead. Pay for Wifi No biscuits with Coffe/tea in room. Spartan Reception Incorrect postcode (for Sat Nav). The room was uncomfortably warm and we did not sleep well. Lack of comfortable seating in room. People smoking outside the entrance area. Not at all pleasant to walk through to enter hotel. Horrible smell all the time in the bathroom. No drawer units to store clothes. Plenty signs of wear and tear in the room. We needed the heating on for an hour and it kicked up dust/fumes into the rooms. It clearly hadn't been used for a while. Child's bed was terrible, like ling on concrete! We all woke up with bad heads and sore throats!. Staff not polite bed lumpy towels thread bear. Although there was a fan in the room the temperature overnight was too hot making it an uncomfortable and restless sleep.
