  We booked this online for a midweek short break and as a fusy person I am particular where I stay but this place was a little gem and we thoroughly enjoyed the place and owners. They were polite , friendly and knowledgable about anything you needed to know about traveling in the area and lake district.The breakfast was tasty and very enjoyable. wo... what people say » uld recommend and will definately return in the future.The rooms were immaculate,clean and comfortable. A little haven in the countryside. - we spent three gloriousl nights , we had the best room in the house patio doors looking over green fields and water . Breakfast excellent ,cant fault it .The only advice i can offer guests is: when paul tells you about a twenty minute walk make sure you get the right directions otherwise it could take an hour and a half.Eddie

  We found the hotel to be lovely and comfortable and very tastefully decorated and had a very warm welcome on arrival. The breakfast was excellent and we were made to feel very welcome!   The staff were exceptional in every manner. Each one we spoke to were very polite and accomodating, especially when booking out as we were leaving at 6am the next morning and they prepared a fantastic breakfast which was delivered 30mins before we departed at 5:30am. The reception staff were very polite and helpful, the staff in the breakfast room... what people say » always had time for us, never rushed. - The room was excellent; clean, bed comfy, tea/coffee/chocolate making facilities, information about the area in a folder, room service brilliant, breakfast included was excellent and you could have as much as you liked. Staff very polite and helpful, could not fault anything.

  Excellent. Staff very helpful as we needed an early start good layout of accommodation we were not disturbed by any noise from the bar or restaurant area.   The hotel is in an excellent location to see the Lake District. The only issue is the parking. The hotel does not own the parking lot so you must pay to use it. The lot is also rather small so you may have to park on the street and move your car by 9:00 in the morning or be ticketed. - The staff were very friendly and helpful on our arrival.   Reception girl was really nice, had professional approach to all my questions and tried to help me out whenever we needed..Room was really clean and free wifi was a good facility every one want to use and enjoy..,and free parking..free cancellation if u change ur plan also give u a peace of mind.. - Friendly staff, and clean room.
