Situated in a quite part of the town with adequate street parking and a nice view of the river. An excellent full breakfast with other alternatives offered. Good for local shopping with a retail outlet opposite (just over the river) and Kendal town centre a short walk away. Close to bus stop for trips to e.g. Windermere/Ambleside or Lancaster if you don't want to drive). Owners and staff friendly and helpful. Wi-fi available and used. This is a tidy, clean and comfortable B&B with a very friendly and welcoming hostess. We received the warmest of welcomes, room was beautifully decorated and tastefully furnished, very clean and exceptionally comfortable. Breakfast menu was one of the best we have ever had, all good! Although a fairly steep hill into the town on the way back we did it in a leisurely stroll and hardly noticed it. Would definitely recommend and if we return to Kendal Beech House would be my accommodation choice.
