  Excellent. Staff very helpful as we needed an early start good layout of accommodation we were not disturbed by any noise from the bar or restaurant area.   This is a tidy, clean and comfortable B&B with a very friendly and welcoming hostess. Breakfast offered nice variety compared to the standard B&B "full English" (I was able to forgo the beans and mushrooms and enjoy a delicious cheese omelette). The bed was comfy and the ensuite bathroom, though a bit small, was spotless and had a nice ... what people say » strong shower. Overall, a very nice place to stay and a good bargain. - We received the warmest of welcomes, room was beautifully decorated and tastefully furnished, very clean and exceptionally comfortable. Breakfast menu was one of the best we have ever had, all good! Although a fairly steep hill into the town on the way back we did it in a leisurely stroll and hardly noticed it. Would definitely recommend and if we return to Kendal Beech House would be my accommodation choice.
