  The hotel is in an excellent location to see the Lake District. The only issue is the parking. The hotel does not own the parking lot so you must pay to use it. The lot is also rather small so you may have to park on the street and move your car by 9:00 in the morning or be ticketed. - The staff were very friendly and helpful on our arrival. No p... what people say » roblem parking outside. Room clean and comfortable. Breakfast excellent and the bar staff and bar area brilliant for a nightcap. Central to all shops and restaurants and nice little park next to the hotel.

  Reception girl was really nice, had professional approach to all my questions and tried to help me out whenever we needed..Room was really clean and free wifi was a good facility every one want to use and enjoy..,and free parking..free cancellation if u change ur plan also give u a peace of mind.. - Friendly staff, and clean room. Always good to find somewhere that takes dogs, and the service road for the services is a nice quiet place to walk dogs too!- especially as there were good things to sniff- due to rabbits! (according to my dog!)

  Excellent. Staff very helpful as we needed an early start good layout of accommodation we were not disturbed by any noise from the bar or restaurant area. We will be returning and have passed details on to others in our party who were staying elsewhere - Very large well equipped room in character building adjacent to character pub but no noise from... what people say » pub. Buildings and grounds pristine. Rural setting with easy walk from Oxenholme train station.
