I've read various negative comments about this place, but let's be reasonable about this. This *is* a budget hotel in greater London, you're not going to get 5* accommodation at this price! What you do get though, in my opinion is a comfortable play to stay, ideally located (for me), where free parking was available, and the main railway station with frequent evening and late night services to/from central London only a couple of minutes walk away. I was completely satisfied for the price - wh.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, everything was perfect, facilities, rooms & above all staff were excellent. Fantastic experience. I will be returning there in a few months time, staff were so accommodating nothing was to much trouble. I had an issue with the shared bathroom, I was without a further question given a larger room at the same price as it would of been inconvenient for 3 ladies to b. Very good location for travelling, shopping and eating. Excellent staff ready to help and provide any service required. Parking facilities provided. Of course, this is not for those who want gym or swimming facilities. However, for the price paid (lower end of the budget), this is one of the best in the area. Great price for a London hotel. A sum of just under £100 was withheld from a friend of mine's bank account for a day or three after I checked out from the hotel. This was a bit awkward for the friend who did phone the hotel up on two separate occasions. Hotel is extremely old, furniture and rooms smelly and not renovated. Overpriced. Poor facilities , not even a kettle in the room. I've stayed in better close by for less. Didn't try the breakfast. Would not stay here again. Radiator in room wasn't working , step to the bathroom , a trip hazard. Broken bathroom louvre let in cold winter breeze all through. I complained and requested for a room change but got non. Hotel policy not friendly to international guests. I paid for three nights but stayed only two due to flight cancellation at originating airport on my first day. Hotel dully informed as soon as cancellation was announced but hotel insisted on full payment when I arrived. Room can be better with little more cleaning. No desk, no kettle/drinks, noisy room as window by car park at front. No bedside light. I had ants in my room and had to change it. It wasnt very clean at all. Probably wouldnt recommend to others and wont be coming back. There was not enough parking got woke up in middle off night to move my car that the staff had said I could park there so not happy about that the road where the hotel was very noise. Everything else, would never go there again!. Shower head was broken and could have had some of the mould removed from the basin. Bedside shelving was broken and bathroom door did not fit correctly. Although it says free parking this is only available if other travellers (works vans ) have not taken the spaces otherwise you have to park on the road. No hot water Shower fell off the wall Tv very old with scratched screen. Many of the furnishings in the room were broken, shelves were falling off the wall for example. Toilet seat was not attached and there was nothing to hold shower head. There was only one main light in the room which was extremely bright but did not have a light shade. Small ensuite. No bath. Windows didnt open staff took breakfast order wrong.
