oking & so had considered dining out but on looking at the menu, I was convinced to stay put. They provide creative and traditional meals, present - Our room was spotlessly clean & very comfortable. The bed & bedding were superb. We really enjoyed our evening meal, which is several cuts above 'pub grub'. The breakfast was especially good, with a wide range of choices, like the delicious Eggs Florentine I had. The service was very efficient and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. The settin is a perfect example of an English village with a village green, & was very peaceful.

it is a beautiful hotel that has fantastic staff and a really nice atmostphere. You felt as if you was at home. - The staff were exceptionally friendly and made it feel very welcoming and the breakfast was outstanding. Whether it was an extra slice of toast, a late night drink or calling us a cab, every request was met with a smile.
