Taphall Bed and Breakfast has a peaceful and yet convenient location. All of the bedrooms feature multi-channel Freeview TV and tea/coffee facilities. The building is just a 5-minute drive from the airport, but is not on the flight path.
The house is opposite the tranquil natural beauty of Hatfield Forest, which is owned by the National Trust. The market towns of Great Dunmow and Bishop's Stortford are just 4 miles away. Both London and Cambridge are only 30 minutes by train from the airport railway station.
Transfers are available to the airport from 07:00. Long-term parking can be provided (at additional cost), and reservation is needed.

Being driven by her to Stansted airport was a great extra.Friendliness of owner, homely/informal feel, close proximity to pub, personal touch, rates, very nice breakfast and selection, close proximity to airport, other friendly guests.Very friendly staff,quiet place,very clean and newly furnished room...Cool place to stay if you like tranquillity.......all reviews
A lovely home from home bed and breakfast. Different to many sterile airport hotels; you get the personal touch. They will bend over backwards to make your stay comfortable and help you with any questions. Would definately use again.Friendly service. Very clean and cosy.Not that i didnt like, but would have been good to get online to check flight times, delays, work email etc.radiatiors in the room from very hot in the begining turned cold during the night and there was no way to regulate it.
