  Lovely location with great sea views. Short walk into Southend itself or longer sea front walk to the very pretty Leigh on Sea. Lots of old pubs with great character here and the old famous "cockle sheds" for fresh sea food. Friendly helpful and informative staff. Brilliant buffet breakfast- lots of choice and food good quality and kept piping hot... what people say » . Room lovely, quite elegant and very comfortable.   Outstanding staff, who went out of their way to accommodate us and give recommendations of local places to eat etc. Excellent location on the seafront, 10 mins walk from the pier & town centre. Neat & tidy rooms, with very nice en suite, great wifi and tv. Balcony was fabulous to enjoy the sunny weather! - It was a refreshing pleasure to... what people say » stay somewhere so clean, tidy, friendly and comfortable. The owners made my stay even better by offering an alternate to my breakfast plan as i had to leave early, and i would recommend this to anyone and i will be returning some time soon :)
