  The hotel is on the airport site and we only had to take 10 steps and we were in the airport. The bar/restaurant next door is fantastic value for money,we went into Blackpool itself and came back here for drinks but we should have stayed as the food looked gorgeous and plentiful. It also has a great kids area aswell.   We received a very warm welcom on arrival at this small but beautiful hotel. The hotel room was finely decorated and warm.   Lovely location in residential area just one street back from promenade and less than 5 minute walk to Pleasure Beach. Owners friendly and very efficient.   We often come to Blackpool for a long weekend during the illuminations but hadn't stayed in the Henson before. There were 5 of us, all family, in 3 separate rooms and we were well taken care of from day one.   I booked the last available room. It was comfortable, sparkling clean, and just what we wanted for a weekend break. The staff were friendly and helpful, and really nice. The location of the hotel was ideal, close to the tram stop so the car could be left parked at the hotel, near to the Pleasure Beach, and yet quiet. - We are enjoyed at the plac... what people say » e but very disappointed with freeview TV frozen all the time so we give up - we were outing almost time.
