Hotel with lots of character. Super clean rooms, spotless in fact! Large spacious rooms with sitting area, small bathroom but ok for our needs. Fab view of the fairytale castle. The breakfast buffet was excellent! Hotel staff was very very friendly from the second we got there (very rare in Europe). the view from our balcony was stunning. the room though small was really neat and kept well for the guests.
there is a restaurant in the hotel, and served good food too. outside hotels there are lots of shops and restaurants, if u just want to explore grindelwald this is a perfect place, and its a value for money too.

We loved the location, just across from the station and central to everything.
As 2 couples, we had the adjoining rooms with shared bathroom between rooms. This worked very well as each bed room had its own hand basin.
Included buffet b/fast was excellent offering a good variety including scrabbled eggs, bacon and lovely fresh bread. We also enjoyed the meals in the downstairs restaurant, where the staff were very friendly.
Big bonus, it has an elevator.

It was a very pretty area, relaxing for a short stay. Mybstaybwas only 4 days l'm spent it visiting the cable car lifts, and the villages close by. The village is beautiful, clean and easybtonget around. Little English is spoken but there is always a way to communicate. -

I loved your hotel. It's our 41st anniversary year of celebration and it was the perfect choice that my daughter made for us. I love the view of the lake along with awesome breakfast served. We were given excellent reception on arrival and guided so well by the staff. We loved everything about the hotel.It was the most relaxing break, all staff were so helpful and friendly. We had our dog with us and he was made very welcome. It is in a peaceful village and so very close to the Railway station so it was easy to access all that the region offers. We are already checking our dates to book again for next year!
