  Hotel with lots of character. Super clean rooms, spotless in fact! Large spacious rooms with sitting area, small bathroom but ok for our needs. Fab view of the fairytale castle. As 2 couples, we had the adjoining rooms with shared bathroom between rooms. This worked very well as each bed room had its own hand basin. Included buffet b/fast was excellent offering a good variety including scrabbled eggs, bacon and lovely fresh bread. We also enjoyed the meals in the downstairs restaurant, where the staff were very friendly. Big bonus, it has an elevator.

  My husband & I stayed with Fritz & Gabi in June for a week. The chalets are beautifully decorated and well equipped. It is just on the edge of Wilderswil away from the main road but within easy walking distance of the centre and train station, it's a perfect base for exploring the Jungfrau region. Gabi is a great cook and breakfast was - Gabi and Fritz are very nice people, very friendly and helpful. We have planned our 2 days according to suggestions by Fritz and it turned out to be 2 perfect days for us. Fritz also tried to book a ski course for us which we have highly benefited. Building and room is pretty new, very clean and comfortable. Location is also very convenient, close to Interlaken, close to mountains, ski areas and to railway station.   The homely feel that the hotel had, lovely big dog that was beside the reception occasionaly and the big fire in the restaurant at dinner time. The staff were great, friendly people, very warm and welcoming.
