  Our stay was very pleasant. The staff were very helpful, friendly and accommodating. Rooms are soundproof due to the large double windows and very bright and clean as well with a modern style. During this time we changed 3 rooms.   We stayed at the hotel on the last weekend of our honeymoon, I had mentioned it was our honeymoon on the reservation but not upon arrival. They had a Cava (bottle of Catalonia's sparkling wine) with chocolate covered strawberries in our room waiting for us. The staff are very friendly and willing to help, wherever required. The rooms are well appointed, extremely comfortable and clean. There's a great roof top bar area with a small plunge pool to cool off. Lastly, the location is fabulous. Only a few minutes walk to La Ramblas. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

  It was right in the middle of the city and herself was delighted as it was on one of the main streets with all the famous Spanish retailers. Everyone from the Receptionists to the bar staff and housekeepers were very friendly and helpful. The staff were very helpful in giving information about the city. we used the spa and sauna which was very nice. - The reception staff were very helpful and friendly, they recommended a place to eat nearby and we found it to be excellent.

  Excellent location, quiet room. The room was very pleasant and so were the public areas of the hotel. The staff was very kind, efficient and helpful. The Airbus station is just few minutes away and since we traveled by air we enjoyed the cheap and efficient bus transportation. There are a number of restaurants nearby where you can eat decent breakf... what people say » ast if you want to skip the full hotel breakfast. - I have been staying in many 4-star hotels, because I used to travel a lot for my work. The Avenida Palace is one of the best 4-star hotels in which I have been staying: excellent location, good service, recently renovated room and bathroom, and almost no noise from the street, from the corridor or from other rooms.
