  My husband and I spent 5 days at the Datai. I've stayed in many hotels over the years but I can honestly say, that I enjoyed my stay at the Datai more than any other hotel I've ever stayed in. I felt a sense of peace being close to nature and the sea. All the staff were wonderful and couldnt do enough to make our stay comfortable. Lifeguar - Absolutely fabulous! Perfect beach location for relaxing family holiday, plenty restaurants and shops within walking distance. Friendly service without being intrusive, the staff always happy and smiling. Food outstanding at the restaurant and pool side, breakfast good with plenty choice and good coffee. The resort and rooms are clean and well maintained, security courteous and professional. Well done Frangipani for brilliant team effort to provide us with a perfect family holiday!

Very trustworthy house-keeping (I lost a key of a rented scooter and one of the house keeping maids kept it with her for a safe keeping until I reported to the reception, and the bell boy was looking with me, then the house... what people say » - keeping maid told him: she found it and it's with her) I rewarded her with some cash for her honesty. - The hotel staffs were very accommodating with our requests. Conveniently located close to the Kuah Jetty. The rooms and bathrooms were clean. I accidentally left my external hard disk in the hotel and the staff/housekeeping were very responsive when I called and explained my dilemma. They managed to locate the device and have it shipped back to me almost immediately.

  Fabulous! The guest service for check is very good and very accomodative. Swimming pool is well maintained. Breakfast is acceptable. I will come again. - Satisfied with the staff, service and facilities. We feel so enjoyable, peacefully and relaxing. Everything was so wonderful. Recommended to others.
