This was our first visit to Sarwak and Kuching. This hotel was just what we wanted. We did not want to stay in the modern high rise hotels near the water front yet not knowing the area we weren't able to find anything traditional further out of Kuching.Basaga Residences were ideal; although the hotel itself was situated within Kuching you felt that you were out in the countryside. The staff were extremly helpful in all aspects and the whole atmosphere was relaxing.

This guesthouse is located on the 1st floor of shops. The first impression to people might not good and it look very old & not so nice. BUT, when you checked in you will change your mind. The shuttle service to town was excellent on time and the Airport Service was fast and efficient. The view was nice over looking the river and the breakfast was worth the money ....overall Very Good.. -
