  The day we arrive,the guest well known of our arrivals,greet us welcomely. The location is near to the town,about 5 minutes,but away from hustle n bustle, was about 10 to 15 minutes to airport,it was strategic! The enviroment,was nice,but the some of the staff was only nice to foreign tourist but not to local tourist,I wonder why? But even so,some... what people say » of them,like the front desk,the housekeeper and the gardener,they were nice. I stayed in the courtyard,I like the room very much,it was so comfy and - This was our first visit to Sarwak and Kuching. This hotel was just what we wanted. We did not want to stay in the modern high rise hotels near the water front yet not knowing the area we weren't able to find anything traditional further out of Kuching.Basaga Residences were ideal; although the hotel itself was situated within Kuching you felt that you were out in the countryside. The staff were extremly helpful in all aspects and the whole atmosphere was relaxing.

The room was lovely for a place in this price range, and the whole place had a real sense of character and homeliness. The place is really nicely done, built by themselves, nice living room kitchen area with tea and coffee. We had the suite with private bathroom, excellent; fan, airco, shower with open sunroof! We had a very pleasant two nights there.

  Very nice guesthouse with amazingly friendly owners! Samual and his wife Jane will make you feel at home. We booked for 3 nights and stayed 11 nights! The first 7 nights we had a room with window, which was really nice and clean, with airco. After we came back from Bako NP we got an inside room without window, but it was still very nice, clean and... what people say » with airco. There are enough toilets and showers, so we never had to wait. They are at all times spotless clean. The breakfast is included and very n - This guesthouse is located on the 1st floor of shops. The first impression to people might not good and it look very old & not so nice. BUT, when you checked in you will change your mind. It is very comfort & clean. It is really value of money. You will feel warmest & friendly people here. It just like your home.
