Overall, we were satisfied in staying in this budget friendly hotel and I highly recommend this to budget friendly travellers going to Rome. 1. Location is great to stay in Rome. It is a short walk from Termini Station (drop off for airport busses) and start of red busses for hop off and hop on (best way to explore Rome). It is also a short walk from the Colosseo. all reviews » We have stayed at Casa Carra for three nights. The room was clean and had a fridge. The location was perfect it was close to Termini station, but wasn't too close to it so outside it wasn't loud at all. You could easily walk from there to the main attractions. The best part was the service. There were two people working there Constantin and a young girl, who were very friendly and always willing to help. Constantin speaks good English and gave us many advices on what to visit, how to get there,. Location, location, location and Constantino. The place is one stop away from the Termini by metro and 2 minutes on foot from the metro itself. Santa Maria Maggiore is 5 minutes on foot, the Colosseum and forum 15 minutes on foot... As for the manager, Constantino, he was all you can ask for when you get to a new place: helpful, accommodating, and simply a pleasure to know. He gave us a map, pointing all that we could do, the best restaurants (we went to 3 of them, which turned out excellent - . If you are looking for glamor this is not the place for you but it is clean, within the city of Rome (hit attractions are only a 10 minute walk away) and the staff is friendly and very helpful! I have only ever seen one person who works there and he is a very friendly and helpful with tourist information. Perhaps a larger sign at the door?. Light and fan in restroom automatically turn on for a very long time when you enter - awful at night but easily solved by t-shirt over lamp. Breakfast is weak. breakfast arrangement. Could be an alternative to coffee and croisant. the bed.
