  The staff was wonderful and the location was very convenient for us as we arrived by train and left on the bus to Malpensa which is at the train station. Our room was clean and quiet. It was a quality hotel and we think that the reason it went from 5 to 4 stars is that the rooms are a little small, but the marble, carpeting, and fabrics were love... what people say » ly. The rooms were in good condition as well, although most rooms have windows opening up to a narrow alley where you can't even see the sky and you can almost reach out to the neighboring room.

  The Sunflower is not located in city centre but very close to the tram station that can take you to the tube so within 15-20 minutes you can get to Duomo. It's a good compromise between price and location. As Milan is a safe city even in the middle of the night you can go back to the hotel with no feeling of fear.   Everything! The staff was amazing! Even before we arrived, we had contact with staff asking if we needed any services upon arrival. After our arrival, they were helpful with making our stay more enjoyable! When we walked into our room, it was beautiful, comfortable, and smelled great! I know that sounds weird, but you felt like walking into a ... what people say » spa! The hotel is green, which was so cool! The breakfast was the best we had had on our 10 day trip! We left wanting to return and to stay at Hote - I like it that the room was furnished stylishly and everything seems new and well-maintained. The propriataria, I think, was so nice and kind that she showed me to my room and didn't mind that I wanted to practice Italian and took time to let me and restated all that needed to pay attention to in English. The breakfast was such a heaven! Food was healthy (fresh fruits, juice, water, bread of all kinds and eggs and bacon) and there's live classical guitar play!
