The Hotel really is behind the Duomo. There was still renovationshappening inside the hotel and road works at the Piazza Fontana, butsomehow, we could hear no noise at all from our room. As part of ourresevation of a triple room I made a note that the reservation was for 3adults, upon arrival at the hotel we were offered an upgraded room thatreally was a small appartment with 3 twin beds. The location of the hotel was great. The rooms were in good condition as well, although most rooms have windows opening up to a narrow alley where you can't even see the sky and you can almost reach out to the neighboring room.

If you're using the hotel to shower and sleep at night, this is no bother but if you're there with kids, definitely not the hotel to choose until the construction work is over.no. the garage service was expensive 50 EU per day, the breakfast was not that much. Room service. Breakfast could be better. The only fault I had with the hotel the tea was never hot at breakfast and I asked for a fried egg and there was an extra charge for this. I had trouble with e-mail connection in my room.as a business traveler that was annoying.no shower curtain in bathroom. No Free Internet. this time the rate was much higher than i usually book. The decoration. the corridors are old. Room new and excellent but the corridors are not. During the trade shows the prices are beyond expensive, indeed exorbitant!. The staff behind the desk was less than helpful. We had started by going to a small hotel called just the Star Hotel, the staff there went out of their way to make sure we got headed in the right direction, I was disappointed in the lack of effort behind the desk. It was very difficult to find the hotel due to the pedestrinised location. I think it could be made clearer how to find it (Sat Nav does not help!). Breakfast was below my expectations. the inside of the hotel i.e corridors was old and the cleaning staff and equipment are always lingering in the narrow hall ways.
