  The reason I chose this hotel was the fabulous location - when in Rome,I spend most of my time at the ancient monuments, and this place is right at the bottom of the via Cavour, literally a minute or two from the Roman and Imperial Fora. I had a deluxe room and it was lovely - faciltities were good, nice shower, tv, safe, fridge - all you would ne... what people say » ed. Everything was clean and though the style of decor would, for some, probably be a little out of date, I thought it was quite charming. Note though - Once we arrived the staff was prompt and happy to greet us. Though we didn't speak Italian they spoke enough English to communicate perfectly. The stay was great, we decided we needed to stay a second night without booking it and they ensured me it wasn't a problem offering me the same rate. Ana Paola and Luigi were extremely polite and helpful. The location is right dead in the heart of Ancient Rome, absolutely amazing for the price. Tons of restaurants and bars close as well.

  The Augusta Lucilla Palace is very close to all the main attractions in Rome. It is very close to the bus terminal and made it easy to get around town! The hotel looks very new and is very clean and the rooms are imaculate! It has double glazing so the sound of the outside street is greatly minimised which is fantastic and has good air conditioning... what people say » . I stayed for three nights with my girlfriend and found the hotel to be in a great location for all the attractions. The hotel itself was modern, clean and very comfortable!
