  Great value, basic, functional hotel. Ideal for pre cruise overnight in Civitavechia which is what we did. Staff (Ana) were extremely friendly, and helpful, the room was clean and a good shower.   The staff were helpful and friendly. They took the time to explain how to get places. They directed us to the train and told us what kind of ticket to buy for our day trips into Rome. From the transfer from the airport, our driver Andreas was really helpful and made us feel welcome, to the size of the room was great, a lot larger than we expected!   The great proximity to the port. We got off of our ship, took a complimentary shuttle bus to the end of the port where we were dropped off and walked under 10 minutes to this lovely hotel. It was a 4 star and definitely the nicest one around. The rooms were neat and clean and the air conditioning was quiet! Very important!   We had 9 people in our family group fly into Rome fco and the hotel shuttle met us as planned and took us and all of our luggage to the hotel promptly. We spent the night and the shuttle took us the next morning right to the cruise ship porters to load the luggage on the ship. We ate dinner in the restaurant and everyone ordered something differen - The hotel was close to town but not in the noise of the city. Our welcome from staff was a warm one, knowing just enough English to be helpful. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. The restaurant had an amazing menu with something for everyone. The free shuttle to the port and ships was a perfect start to our Mediterranean cruise.

The small water heater for the shower was my only slight gripe, but the rest of the place was lovely. - The host was very helpful and friendly,we would stay there again !
