He will pick you up at the train station (no charge) and deliver you next day at the port. He has a special permit that allows him to drive you right to the entrance of the cruise facility

Simple, clean, economical and adequate for overnight stays, and helpful personal service was very impressive and appreciated, Fabulous help beyond expectations getting us to the port with their car, helping us to check in our rental car, and advising us on other arrangements. I travel quite a bit, but not usually overseas, I have been in Europe several times but by far the hospitality and warmness of the people at the Hotel Miramare was exceptional. The room layout was also excellent since the door could be closed between the "bedroom area" and the "entrance area". That way if one person is sleeping the other can be in a different area.

The hotel was close to town but not in the noise of the city. Our welcome from staff was a warm one, knowing just enough English to be helpful. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. The restaurant had an amazing menu with something for everyone. The free shuttle to the port and ships was a perfect start to our Mediterranean cruise.
