It was a visual feast from the light coming in to the dining room to the field of wheat - lovely untouched and not commercialised in the usual hotel fashion - a real treat! The food was excellent in my opinion the best hotel food that I have had in any 4 star hotel. The individually cooked breakfast was a real bonus.   Although CityNorth is out of town in Dublin terms, it is yards from the M1 motorway and therefore very convenient for North-South travellers. The car park is vast and has the advantage of being at the front of the hotel building, so arrival and departure is very smooth indeed. Reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. I had requested a smoking room as my husband smokes and we were upgraded to an executive suite at no extra cost as it was an available smoking room, it was just beautiful, huge, with robes, slippers, fresh fruit, sparkling water etc. We have stayed a few times on the way to or from Dublin airport but this was our 1st time to stay strictly for leisure and it will not be our last, there is a lovely walkway which will bring you to Gormanstoun Castle a

Nearby Ashbourne has some dining and shopping opportunities, but not too much further away, Swords offers a lot more. A great location too for a quick drive to the airport.   We got there a bit early because we were exhausted from flying in to Ireland at 5am that morning. He was so friendly and welcoming and let us check-in early to take a nap. His wife gave us a great dinner recommendation. Breakfast was great and for our first night in Ireland we felt very welcome and comfortable. We will definitely stay there again!... what people say » - We both have stayed in lots of b&b's around Ireland, and we have to say this b&b were excellent to stay with! Great food, very helpful and recommended places to go! Would definitely return to this b&b and we would also give it a 10 out of 10!

  Helpfulness of the owners, continental breakfast, the cleanliness. Nora is a spectacular hostess who did walk the extra mile to help our stay to be more than perfect. Big and small details to help our short stay to be perfect (having breakfast 15 minutes earlier than usual to make sure we ate before leaving to airport, pouring hot water in the win... what people say » dshield and windowns to defrost them early morning). First experience in a B&B and felt better treated than in any 5 starts hotel. - When we arrived the hostess said there are some guests who are a little bit noisy and she doesn't want that we can't sleep, so we got a room not in the big house but in the smaller one. The room was very nice and clean and the breakfast was awesome. We asked the hostess to arange a taxi for us in the morning of departure and she gave us a lift herself. If you are staying in Navan and looking for a B&B I definitely recommend the Meadow View B&B.

  Friendly staff, let us check in early and leave late. We were staying in the dairy cottage and it was lovely. - I liked the vegies, chickens ducks and cows. Also the family feeling. The sights are fairly close by too.
