    This is the second time staying at this hotel and again, I didn't get the chance to use the Spa Facilities. This time my stay was only for 1 night as I was busy visiting Family. I would definately stay here again and next time I will ensure I give the Spa ago. Room was very comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful.     We were travelling with 3 children from 18months to 15 years all were accomodated and enjoyed their stay and we had the luxary and good food but could also relax as the staff were great and the restaurant open to children of all ages.     Everything was brilliant and the host couldn't be more helpful. From recommendations about places for dinner, to help with our enquires about Belfast we couldn't have asked for better.     We only saw Alan the proprietor once, on arrival, which sums up how good our stay was. Very friendly and very helpful with regards to the cottage, things to do, places to go/eat. Stayed in Weirs Snout (red building), and can't fault it. It was just the two of us but it was comfortably big enough to accommodate 6.....maybe next time we'll bring the... what people say » kids. Fantastic location, super friendly staff (thanks for all the advice Alan). Location wise, best located place we have stayed in a long time Cottages are well designed and felt like being at home only after 10 minutes of staying in. Very child friendly - we been provided with a cot and hig chair all great ! On top of all this - there are some many thigs to do that it is unreal - will be going back there definately !

    The Derrin was very convenient to both the Ferry and the downtown area. Immaculately clean and a great owner/staff. We were very pleased with the accommodations and the pricing is very good.     We had a lovely time at Ken-Mar. We were spoilt by Kenny and Mary. A lot of thought must have gone into every detail. The accommodation is spotlessly clean and the fluffiest towels ever!     Everything was great and all in close distance to shops, bars.... The apartment was in excellent condition and the new paint job looks really great Margaret thank you - the interior was gorgeous, have to agree the sofa bed was a bit uncomfy, but there was an extra mattress there which we used and it sorted that problem out.

We honestly can't see any reason at all why anyone would pay 2-4 times as much to stay in some of Belfast's bigger hotels. Despite this, the Tara is on a very quiet stretch of road lined with classic charming Belfast brick buildings.
