  This is the second time staying at this hotel and again, I didn't get the chance to use the Spa Facilities. This time my stay was only for 1 night as I was busy visiting Family.   We only saw Alan the proprietor once, on arrival, which sums up how good our stay was. Very friendly and very helpful with regards to the cottage, things to do, places to go/eat.   Everything was great and all in close distance to shops, bars.... The apartment was in excellent condition and the new paint job looks really great Margaret thank you - the interior was gorgeous, have to agree the sofa bed was a bit uncomfy, but there was an extra mattress there which we used and it sorted that problem out.

We honestly can't see any reason at all why anyone would pay 2-4 times as much to stay in some of Belfast's bigger hotels. Despite this, the Tara is on a very quiet stretch of road lined with classic charming Belfast brick buildings.
