We have found now with two kids we are very restricted in a hotel room, but its very expensive (and usually impossible) to get a holiday rental for less than a week.   The best B&B we have stayed in on our 10 days trip through Ireland! By far! Sue and her husband have been fantastic hosts. Book early and try to get a room with a view to the sea if possible but even if you can't you cannot go wrong with this B&B. From there it is only a 5min drive to Cl - We visit Clifden annually for the Connemara Pony Show and Sharamore House was the best B & B we have stayed in. Just minutes outside Clifden town it was in a beautiful setting, nice spacious bedrooms and the food was excellent, using home produced and local produce. Will definitely go there again.
