I enjoyed the breakfast buffet here the best since it had extras like figs, fresh cut fruit and pineapple, pretty cookies, sweets, and cakes. The canopy bed and thick coverlet was really fine. The house and garden was fun to explore and take pictures. The computer with internet was very user friendly and in a nice separate room. Don't miss the night watchman tour at 8 p.m.!.

Our room was like walking into my own bedroom. It was so comfy. I love the hotel set up, very low key yet relaxing. I felt very much at home there, which is great when you are traveling around from spot to spot. And if I had the chance I would love to stay there again.The staff was very helpful and friendly and great with our young children. The hotel is very nice, has parking facilities and is in a very nice location inside the city wall of Rothenburg. We had a lovely stay and hope to make it back sometime!. Friendly and courteous staff who are keen to please. Beautiful room andexceptionhally clean. Contains lovely cafe serving very nice gateau andcoffee. The breakfast is exceptional.We had a very nice stay at this hotel, because of a train delay we arrived at midnight and the manageress had to come and let us in. We stayed on the top floor (5th floor) of the hotel and we found it difficult to carry all our luggage up the flights of stairs because they had no elevator. Besides this, everything else was excellent.Room was a bit small for a family; TV didn't work and there was no one in the reception area during the evening to talk to about problems.SHOWER HEAD WOULD ONLY AIM AT WALL. fussy about which breakfast room we ate in...the staff was not really helpful. When we arrived, the lady at reception did not even bother to look at us or answer any of our request. It was the gentelman sitting at the bar, who is also a guest, that actually tried to help. Also, far from the train station.
