Hospitality has therefore had a long sense of tradition in our establishment. We strive to make our guests' stay in our hotel and in Rothenburg a pleasant and memorable experience. The Restaurant Roter Hahn:
Traditional old franconian style Restaurant with typical regional dishes as well as international cuisine.

The Restaurant Alte Stadtmauer:
Almost 900 years of history are shown in this room. The first city wall of Rothenburg, build in the 12th century is integrated in this restaurant. The historical ambience is very special for small groups, dinners or family festivities.Conferences up to 12 persons can be held in this medieval age room.

We want to show you a little bit of the atmosphere, the ambience, the music and of course the delicious food Mexico’s at our “Café Pacifico”.

In case of low guests numbers we serve continental breakfast.

Built in the year 1380, the Hotel Roter Hahn has served guests from near and far for more than 600 years and is therefore one of the oldest inns in all of Germany. Kings and princes have lodged here, as well as merchants and commoners. In the year 1905 it was purchased by Johann Scherer and is still in the possession of the proprietor family.

We have also nonsmoker rooms.
