Travellers should keep in mind that check-in in this apptmts is up to 18.00 Housekeeper blame us for late check-in, but it's a kind of humor - no another inconveniencies. Good parking for motorcycle - it was locked in the garage. Excellent located in old town.
The apartment was comfortable even though the furnishings could use some updating. It suited us quite nicely because we are veteran travellers and don' t demand too much. The location was great, minutes from everything. We enjoyed it there.all reviews
Landlady was very friendly and helpful. She provided maps of the area,
told us of local events happening that evening and suggested we make a
pack lunch with the bread and breakfast meats.
Pension Freund is within the walls of the old town, at one end of a cobbled street.

Very early check-in deadline, but if you call to housekeeper - it won't be a problem. Early check-out 10.00 - but it's a common place in small apptmts in Romantische strasse.
Poor breakfast: just bread and jam and cheese.

"Free private parking" means
only 2 "off street" parking spaces, found directly in front of the Pension in a very small street.
Actually the apartment can accomodate three adults but when booking it showes max 2 adults allowed. This made us have to book another room for my wife's mother.
No internet or telephone available.

It was noisy-cars and packs of tourists near the windows.
A bit noisy during the night (people passing by and talking woke me up a couple of times, but we've kept the window open as it was quite warm). Double bed and cover were a bit too small for two people. There's no internet or TV. No receipt was issued for payment (only cash accepted).

The carpet was in great need of cleaning. Next to the bed you could smell stinky feet. The shower stall was so small, I kept bumping the water handle and turning it to very hot. No TV, radio, or clock, and one uncomfortable chair and small table. Very limited parking in the alley.
