Hotel Ibis Budget, Paris Nord 2 This hotel has "budget" in the name, so you know not to expect luxury… And your expectations are met. For about $100, we got a very tiny, clean, functional room, with an acceptable breakfast. Beds were OK, as was everything else. The rooms are very tiny; a couple with a lot of luggage would struggle a bit. And you had better like your roommate… You'll be very close, all the time. The rooms are actually kind of cute, with a couple of nice touches; the shower head .
all reviews » Chosen for its proximity to the airport, the Ibis Budget is good value for the money compared to the prices of other airport hotels. The staff was helpful. Yes, the rooms are small and for some reason, our shower was in the room, separate from the rest of the bathroom, so you end up getting the floor of the room wet to get to the bathroom. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet and were able to fill up since our 5 hour flight did not have a meal. Being American, I enjoyed having unlimited coffee. As w. This is an excellent hotel for an overnight stay and if you have an early flight the next day. This worked out perfectly for my mom and me. It is very basic but clean, good value, and the breakfast buffet was good. Courtepaille, an excellent French chain restaurant, was just a few steps away to enjoy a good dinner on the evening we stayed. For a budget hotel, it was still clean and seemed updated sufficiently where I would stay again. There is also an excellent restaurant right next door and they're building another close by. We stayed two nights, and even though it's directly under the landing path for planes, we didn't hear a thing inside the rooms. I arrived at Paris CDG late in the evening, but my next flight was only the morning after, therefore I had to book a hotel. It was not a mistake to choose this one: it took just about 15 minutes with a free shuttle bus from Terminal 1 to get there, the staff were polite and the room was perfectly clean, as in the other hotels of ibis chain. I liked very much the colour scheme of the room and its interiour. It is certainly worth the money. there is free shuttle bus that goes to CDG Airport (terminal 1,2,3) every 20 minutes. Seemed like he had a chip on his shoulder. The bed was to hard only provided 2 towels in a 3 people room it's annoying to ask for a extra one. But it's all good for what we paid. And the purpose was to be close to the airport to pick up our parents. The eating out options are far less. Also, considering that public bus service is not that frequent, one can't think of going to spend a leisure time at places around. no slippers in the room. The only tiny thing was that the food/coffee machines in the lobby only take coins, so you have to ask the desk for change. I'm trying not to be too nitpicky for a budget stay, but I would have preferred the toilet to not be separate from the shower. The room too small for traveler with childrent and few luggages. The room was too warm but otherwise everything was fine. Distance to Terminals and buses are always overcrowded and in the morning "its run for ur life to get a space inside and ur luggage". The shuttle service could be better if there were either a reader board noting next stop etc. Had to guess if it was your stop. Room is small but ok for a one night. Could use a floor mat outside of shower as floor is slippery when wet. Should provide hand towels. The early morning shuttle bus was totally inadequate for the 4 hotels sharing the ride to the airport...not just the Budget Roissy as I thought it would be.It was a total disaster with people pushing and shoving each other. No order. Many people left behind. Need more shuttles at the bz hours. No restaurant and only one place nearby to eat. Would be good to have a bar also. I should check again with my previous stay invoices but it is my impression that this hotel progressively charges higher prices. No plug/stopper in hand basin No suitcase stand no tissues.
