  Having spent 40+ weeks a year (for over 20 years) in hotels very much like this one I can honestly say that the staff here are in a class of their own. Only once every few years do I find such a well run operation full of such friendly, helpful and capable people. The every one of the staff members were incredibly friendly, the valet, front desk, even the janitor! The location is amazing. You're right downtown Ottawa, parliament hill is right next door, the byward market is a 2 minute walk away and you're also right by the rideau mall and numerous museums.

  The front desk and concierge staff were outstanding. We had a problem with the air conditioning. Someone came to look at it and said it was working fully but that the room was not cooling. Helped save us a little money by cooking breakfast in the morning so we were not rushed to get out of the hotel in the mornings to find something to eat.
