Great hotel for a quick night en route to Jasper. Breakfast was nice, there was a swimming pool present. Rooms were very nice. Location is very convenient, right next to the highway. We didn't hear the highway anyway. -

Outstanding renovation of an historic downtown hotel. It is well located in downtown Kamloops, with a very nice patio restaurant and bar. Rooms small but comfortable and well appointed. Charming lobby and lovely artwork featuring local painters. Short walk to the Riverside Park. Shopping and summer Farmer's Market steps from the front door. Staff extremely helpful and welcomingl. They had great food for kids & myself, the room was fantastic, very clean & comfortable as well, pricing was reasonable for everything. Keith was the night manager who greeted me as I entered the lobby and was very friendly and helpful! I had stayed there last September and the room was clean and bright. This time I was delighted to find that they had even made it nicer by having updated the linens, mattress and light fixtures, plus the walls were freshly painted and the bathroom seemed nicer than last time! Riverland is on the river and not far off the highway in an industrial area. Next door is a cafe so that was convenient for dinner. There is a tiny breakfast room, a little pool and lots of grassy lawn with chairs and tables along the river. Definitely upgrade to a river room. Otherwise, the rooms face the parking lot and industrial area. -
