  Our studio room was very comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic. We enjoyed the central location and it was a great base from which to explore Vienna. The staff were very helpful and stayed behind for an extra hour after their usual closing time to wait for our late check in after our arrival from Australia. - It would be hard to get a better l... what people say » ocation, and the price was very reasonable.   Astoria is ancient hotel with good tradition of services. Helpful and attentive staff, comfortable and lovely room, location in the centre - near Opera, museums, nice restaurants and cafe. The staff are friendly and very helpful. You can buy your underground tickets from the reception desk. We had a large bedroom, with sofa and armchair (the sofa became a double bed which my 8 year old son slept on) Children up to the age of 12 stay for free.

  Excellent nstaff. Someone had been smoking in my room. The receptionist, Connie,did everything possible to get rid of the odour. She found and lit scented candles , opened windows etc. This was very impressive customer service. Although the offensive odour diminshed a little...it was effort tthat impresssed me. Apparently, the hotel has only 2 non-... what people say » smoking rooms and it is impossible to police . - I really enjoyed my stay at the Aviano Pension. The location is excellent as well as the staff. It is a bit hidden, but it is definitely worth hunting it out. Since it was snowing very hard when we arrived, we took a taxi from the CAT (City Airport Train) which made it easy for us to find it. Overall, it was was a great experience, and I would definitely return to this hotel.

It is always a challenge to find comfortable, spacious accommodations (comparable to what we are accustomed to in U.S.) when travelling in Europe with our three children.
