  The location is brilliant. Wien State Opera was the reason we came to Wien and the hotel is just 100 meters from the Opera house. Besides, the Hotel is 10 minutes walk from the Museam Quarter, fine restaurants and walking streets.   Astoria is ancient hotel with good tradition of services. Helpful and attentive staff, comfortable and lovely room, location in the centre - near Opera, museums, nice restaurants and cafe. Wonderful staying! We are more than happy with that choice. Besides we booked executive double room but finally were granted junior suit as it shown on the pictu... what people say » re. - The location of this hotel is ideal, two minutes walk to the nearest underground. The staff are friendly and very helpful. You can buy your underground tickets from the reception desk. We had a large bedroom, with sofa and armchair (the sofa became a double bed which my 8 year old son slept on) Children up to the age of 12 stay for free.
