  The hotel staff were extremely friendly. The location was really good and if you're feeling super lazy you can pay 44 dollars for a week long pass for all the public transport in the city centre.   The staff was very accommodating to me checking in just prior to when they opened up midday and were helpful with information on the busses to the city and back and with storing my luggage prior to my flight schedule. The location is just a short walk from Newtown which is a great neighborhood and has good restaurants that have more realistic pric... what people say » ing than in the city. Great shops, too. It is a relatively short cab ride to the airport. - The staff were super friendly and we would stay there just for that reason. The new beds are super comfy, clean and quiet.....forget about those expensive 5 star hotels with the snooty staff, go to the Ibis as Sy Peters, you wont be sorry...besides all that there is a kfc and a Macdonalds right outside the front door! The latter is available in the laundry room.   We were two young female backpackers and it was an experience we will never forget....We liked the staff (pretty sure seeing them all dressed like girls was probably why haha)...when we first arrived they offered us free goon....mmmm...played some games ;p had a night out on the town :) they showed us where to get pizza...great atmosphere... And o... what people say » ur own bathroom :d woot woot!!!! Umm and yea it's just very friendly! - Customer service was superb. Soraya at reception was especially helpful and went out of her way to keep family in one room after I changed booking at the last minute. Awesome location, next to central railway and monorail.

  This is indeed a funky little place, loved the paintings on the walls and doors, the atmosphere there with rooftop parties in King Cross intense nightlife area. About 20minutes walk from thr Queen's gardens and the Opera House, 30mins from the piers and city center. - People where friendly.
